Hi! My name is Kotryna Hilko and I am a Mexican, Lithuanian, Chicago based Costume Designer. I believe costume design is a collaborative process between actor, designer, and director. My goal is to work with my team to bring these characters to life. The details are what bring the magic to a production.

I have been fortunate to work with many talented and important directors, designers, and mentors such as Derrick Sanders, Heidi Stillman, Yasen Peyankov, Dado, Michael Halberstam, Chuck Smith, Ron OJ Parson, and Kristy Leigh Hall. In addition to this, I have also worked on many UIC main stage shows as a stitcher and a wardrobe supervisor. Skills obtained include: quick changes, hair, make-up, multi-tasking, and quick and effective problem-solving, while maintaining a calm demeanor.
